This section shows the process of the artistic research that I developed during two years within the frame of the Master in Scenography at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU). The research was triggered by one main question: how can the conscious and the unconscious minds generate an experiential atmosphere? In the context of this question two main reflections were explored: one referring to the paradoxical way in which an individual experience can become a collective one without losing its personal approach. And second, the multilayered character of space in which physical encounters performative and filmic, and its possible interaction for the generation of atmospheres.

Different Environments

September 1, 2015

Before beginning the artistic research 'Multilayered Atmospheres', there was a previous approach on the question of how the interior world of an individual is reflected on their immediate environment?

This previous approach explored different escenarios that show how people create their own micro-atmospheres.

This is a series of five pictures taken in Ecuador, that reflect the different kinds of relationships that a person can create with their own external atmospheres.
